Highlands is conveniently located for visitors traveling throughout the Northeast, with easy access to both the estate and the many attractions that define the Hudson Valley.

Directions

Located just a stones throw from the intersection of Rt 22 & Rt 44 in Amenia, NY, Highlands is an accessible destination via car, train and several International & Regional Airports within close proximity.

Please note: Do not type in “Silo Ridge Field Club” as your GPS destination. It will bring you to a completely separate property, and you will be turned away at security.

Highlands Horse Show is easily accessible by major roads, including RT 22, RT 44 and the Taconic State Parkway. Note that the Taconic is passenger cars only, so if you have a trailer or are a commercial vehicle you will need to use an alternative route such as 44, 22, or 84/684.

Metro North Railroad: The Wassaic Train Station is a five minute drive to the farm. Service from Grand Central daily on the Harlem Valley Line. The Hudson Line is accessible from the Poughkeepsie Stop (40 minute drive) from Grand Central Station daily.

Amtrak: Amtrak stations at Poughkeepsie (40 minute drive) and Rhinecliff (45 minute drive) offer service from Penn Station and Albany.

  • JFK, LGA, EWR are all about a 2 hour drive from the Highlands. Albany, NY & Bradley (Hartford CT) are approximately 90 minutes. 
  • Regional airports Stewart (Newburgh NY) and Westchester Airports are approximately 75 minutes to Highlands. 
  • Local private/ charter airports are Sky Acres Airport in Millbrook (20 minute drive) and Dutchess County Airport in Poughkeepsie (30-40 minute drive)
